The seventh week

We have already completed the seventh week. The puppies are growing well and becoming more and more independent. They have already explored the garden several times, sometimes in pairs but also on their own.

We had less visitors this week, only at the weekend. However, we had some photographers who took some great pictures for us. Many thanks to Susanne and, of course, to Sven. Sven took a very special picture of us!

When you're expecting less visitors, you have to keep the puppies occupied. We came up with the idea of a puppy disco.

This week, I took all the puppies for a short walk on a lead separately. We can be proud of them, as they all did really well and were very interested in their new surroundings. Our Rosie has been more withdrawn, as she really needs more rest. The puppies still come to her like piranhas to drink. In doing so, they have also hurt Rosie. It will take time and, above all, rest for her to heal. However, Rosie is feeling well and is now enjoying playing with the big dogs.

We also exposed the puppies to engine noises. As we have a lot of peace and quiet here, we started up our tractor and drove it around the grounds. After driving back and forth a few times, the puppies didn't care at all.
